Summer camp is the best! FPC loves LMC

LakeSide camp has been going since 1957! With morning, afternoon, and evening study sessions, worship times all throughout the day, and various camp activities, LakeSide Camp is the best way to spend a week each summer!

Many of the current staff started out as campers - and loved camp so much they just kept coming back! There are daily ‘cool times’ where kids get to learn new skills, play games like Dutch Blitz, tie-dye shirts or pillowcases, and more. Meet Joe for morning walks and watch the night fade into the day as nature wakes up and greets the campers. Horizontal time (aka nap, study, devotional, rest time) takes place in the middle of the day to make sure campers are rested up for the evening activities! Pool time is a must, just like Silly Songs with Emily!

The campers will have daily lessons and studies about the theme for the camp for that year - lead by camp pastor Dave Cook. Counselors will continue the conversation in the cabins with devotional and study times where campers can talk through what they are learning in the scriptures.
